I was searching for a driving instructor to take on my eldest son when he turned 17. He is on the autistic spectrum and suffers immensely from a lack of self-confidence (he constantly seeks reassurance in almost everything). Realising that teaching young people to drive is challenging enough I wasn't sure I would be able to find anyone but Jim McCabe of Learn2Licence was only too happy to take him on. Prior to his first lesson, Jim visited the house to introduce himself to my son. Jim could not have been a better teacher; patient, encouraging, supportive and provided us with a verbal summary of each day's lesson. Jim accompanied my son on his test in order to provide moral support. Thanks to Jim my son passed first time (unlike his father!). With 2 further children rapidly approaching that age there is only one driving school we will be approaching should they decide they also want to 'Learn2Licence'!!

Even though through me experience as a learn I wasn’t able to be consistent with every week lesson. With Jim’s help I didn’t feel like I had to re-learn every time . After having a bad experience - I thought I was a bad driver but she made me believe in myself and gave me the confidence boost I needed to pass my test.
